Company DescriptionRoss University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) offers a unique program of training on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. Students benefit from seven semesters of integrated preclinical and clinical studies at our St Kitts campus, and one year of clinical training at our affiliate veterinary teaching hospitals in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Job DescriptionThe successful applicant would be expected to provide didactic and laboratory training to veterinary preclinical students in large animal surgery as well as other laboratories associated with Essential Veterinary Skills. Classroom and laboratory teaching of veterinary professional students is estimated to constitute about 70% of professional effort. The remainder will be divided between research and institutional service. Faculty members are expected to develop extramurally funded research programs that include collaboration with other scientists, advising of graduate student research, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. There is an expectation to undertake some educational research. Faculty members will also complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications- DVM or equivalent required. PhD or board certification strongly preferred.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
